They say you should make videos about what you feel like doing rather than what you think people will like. Well… here you go!
As moist of you know, I’m fairly passionate about filmmaking and the kit that goes with it as this channel is pretty much based on that topic. But I also like ‘Birding’ as in birdwatching or ornithology to give it a more technical term. But usually I don’t just stop at watching birds, I like to photograph them too. In this video you’ll see me take a random trip out to the outdoors and spend some time photographing birds. Most of the footage here was shot in one day but I did re-visit to do a few drone shots etc and one or two bits of footage. The weather has been horribly windy so I found it hard to shoot properly. It’s just a fun vlog video to be honest but I would like to film more of this stuff. Perhaps next time I’ll shoot a video about filming wildlife. You’ll notice that I remain in the car quite a bit. There’s a reason for that. 1 – It was windy as hell and therefore tricky to film myself. 2 – Then birds in the area I was in are used to cars passing but if you get out of the car they’ll see ‘the human form’ and get spooked so in a way you’ll get closer by remaining in the car. Some of the footage is quite shaky as I’m hand holding it, apologies for that, it’s not easy to hand hold with a 600mm lens! Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this vid.
